Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is one of the most commonly used materials and can be found in water bottles, clothing fibers, and food containers. PETG is a great middle-ground between PLA and ABS and this material is also suitable for items that are frequently handled, dropped, or in contact with areas that have high heat. This material is great for mechanical prototyping and other use cases in which strength and impact resistance is needed.
